Scott R. Timm established his law practice in Waconia, Minnesota in 1992. Admitted to both
Minnesota State District Courts and United States Federal District Courts, Mr. Timm practices in
the areas of adoption, bankruptcy, business start-ups, estate planning, family law, personal injury,
probate, and real estate. Mr. Timm is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association and family
law and bankruptcy sections. He is also a past-president of the Waconia-West Carver Rotary Club.

Mr. Timm received his Juris Doctorate from William Mitchell College of Law where he served on
the staff of the William Mitchell Law Review and volunteered with the Minnesota Justice
Foundation. He completed his undergraduate studies at Minnesota State University (Mankato) with
a Bachelor of Arts (summa cum laude, Phi Kappa Phi) in English Literature and was listed in Who’s
Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities.
